The FERRATA.BLOC is your reliable and safe partner in any via ferrata! It acts as a “third arm” and brake which only allows upward movement. When you want to take a break, it locks directly at the point of contact with the wire. By taking enough breaks and the additional psychological safety effect, falls can be prevented.

Attention: The FERRATA.BLOC must be used as an additional tool with a certified via ferrata set only. It is not meant to catch a dynamic fall, but rather to prevent it by the possibility of taking a break. Find all information concerning suitable via ferrata sets in the manual.

Features:

Blocks in vertical passages immediately - on the spot!
Energy absorber integrated!
Silver-colored side ("this side up") must always point upwards and is hooked in as the uppermost, then follow the carabiners of your via ferrata set!
IMPORTANT: suitable for a steel rope diameter of 12-16mm!
Via ferrata must necessarily have a vertical rope guide and "traditional construction" (= tensioned rope between the anchors)!
Never replaces a via ferrata set and must not be used alone!
