David Hechl

My name is David Hechl. I'm 22 years old and grew up near the area of "Wilder Kaiser" in Austria. The “Kaiser” is still one of my absolute favorite areas. In addition to numerous repeats, I've also been able to do several first ascents there. It all started 15 years ago when my parents signed me up for the climbing club. I was active in competitions for a while until I discovered alpinism at the age of 18. This decision opened big doors for me and I am very excited to see where the journey will take me in the coming years.
