We had a couple of new AUSTRIALPIN products with us, which we tested and gave feedback on. My personal favourites since long are the ELEVEN quickdraws. They have their regular seat on my harness whenever I am out for sports climbing.

Taking advantage of the relaxed atmosphere, and inspired by the impressive peaks catching our eyes every time we turned around, we sampled many of the great climbs of the area. A highlight was trying the route ‚Sinn des Lebens‘, which, after a boulder move continues into 15m of enjoyable, technical face climbing. Additionally, we tried the routes, G-Nuss and La Linea. Together we were Martina Harnisch, Thomas Smarty Marth, Daniel Horvath alias Dalton Schintrr, Bernhard Hangl Sen, Beat Kammerlander, Marvin Winkler, Stefan Brunner and Catherine Laflamme.
Throughout the day beta was exchanged, routes were climbed, and - a necessity for sport climbing days -a coffee was brewed! In the evening we sat together in Mayrhofen and over dinner the discussion turned to climbing goals, projects and of course the best material for it all. After such a day, summer can officially begin!
